Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel Fabrication
Food and beverage projects can call for different materials across process equipment, structural components and supporting systems. Alps Welding’s capabilities include stainless steel and alloy fabrication as well as carbon steel fabrication.
Our segregated stainless steel fabrication space is physically separated from the carbon steel bays. When planning your equipment, provide the material specifications for the vessel body, internals, piping and supports.
For equipment intended to contact food or beverages, include the specified surface finish and cleaning requirements for review.
A Custom Vessel for the Food and Beverage Industry
One example of our work is a carbon steel custom pressure vessel measuring 1,700 mm in diameter × 13,000 mm tangent-to-tangent, fabricated for a food and beverage project.
