Alps Welding manufactures custom stainless steel pressure vessels and industrial process equipment for EPCs, equipment designers and end users. Based in Woodbridge, Ontario, we combine fabrication capabilities with mechanical engineering support to bring your equipment specifications into production.
Whether your project requires a standalone vessel, a heat exchanger or a larger process assembly, our team can review your drawings, material requirements and fabrication scope.
Custom Stainless Steel Equipment We Manufacture
Stainless Steel Pressure Vessels
As a stainless steel pressure vessel manufacturer, Alps Welding fabricates equipment around project-specific dimensions, connections, internal components and installation requirements.
We work with customer specifications to establish the fabrication scope, including the required materials, design conditions, examination, testing and documentation. Mechanical design support is available for vessels we manufacture.

Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers
Our stainless steel fabrication capabilities also support custom heat exchangers and equipment incorporating multiple specified materials.
A recent energy recovery project combined stainless steel piping with aluminum structural components in an assembly measuring 6 feet wide × 8 feet tall × 17 feet long. Alps fabricated the equipment to a customer-supplied design, supporting the equipment designer’s technology with our manufacturing capabilities.
See our stainless steel piping heat exchanger project for a closer look.
Piping, Tanks and Process Assemblies
Beyond pressure vessels and heat exchangers, our capabilities include stainless steel piping, tanks, modular systems and other custom process equipment.
We can review individual components or a broader assembly scope, helping customers coordinate the fabrication requirements and interfaces between equipment.
Stainless Steel and Specialty Alloy Fabrication
Material requirements vary by application, component and operating conditions. Alps Welding’s published material capabilities include stainless steel, Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, titanium and aluminum.
Share the specified material grades for each component, together with any requirements for material records, finishing or inspection. Our team can review the fabrication requirements and discuss the scope for your project.
For equipment incorporating different materials, identify the requirements separately for the vessel body, internals, piping, supports and structural components.
A Separate Stainless Steel Fabrication Facility
Alps Welding’s segregated stainless steel fabrication facility provides dedicated space for stainless steel vessels, piping, heat exchangers and modular equipment.
Physically separated from our carbon steel fabrication bays, the facility supports our ability to manufacture custom equipment across a range of materials and industries.

Mechanical Engineering Support for Your Project
Our engineering capabilities include mechanical design and calculations for vessels and heat exchangers we fabricate, along with 3D modelling and fabrication drawings.
We can work from an established customer design or provide mechanical design support within the agreed scope. Applicable code, registration, inspection and documentation requirements are reviewed as part of the project.
