Back in 2010, Alps Welding delivered this multi-skid vapour recovery unit (VRU) system for a major oil company end-user in New Brunswick. The project brought together pressure vessels, piping, control systems, electronics, and structural skid frames, with the full fabrication and assembly completed in-house.
Each component had to align not just physically, but functionally. The system’s performance depended on how well each individual element worked in tandem. From fabrication through assembly, the focus was on ensuring that the entire unit operated as intended once installed.
