These carbon steel vessels combine custom vessel fabrication and internal distributor installation for a water treatment application at a chemical manufacturing plant.
As a water treatment vessel manufacturer, Alps Welding fabricated the vessel bodies and installed the internal distributors for this project. Each vessel measures 9 ft in diameter × 18 ft in overall length and incorporates an internal lining to protect the carbon steel from corrosion.

Internal Linings for Corrosion Protection
The vessels combine carbon steel construction with a protective internal lining. The steel forms the vessel body, while the lining provides a barrier between the steel and the process contents.
For a lined vessel, the protective system needs to suit the service conditions. Lining requirements, internal details and access provisions should be considered together when planning the equipment.

Our scope included installing the internal distributors within the fabricated vessel bodies, combining vessel fabrication and component installation in the same project.
